Andy Gibbs
Andy is Director of Services and is a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and holds the STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust and Estate Accounting. Andy has dealt with both tax compliance and tax advisory projects across a range of industry sectors.
Andy Coleman
Andy joined Tax Consulting having worked for a variety of top 50 and boutique firms where he gained significant experience of both corporate and personal tax. Andy currently leads on our complex corporate tax compliance projects, mainly within the field of R&D tax, though also in other areas from time to time. Andy has considerable experience of helping clients arrive at commercially effective solutions which are tax efficient.
Nikki Shepherd
Nikki joined the personal tax team in 2024. She specialises in dealing with residence matters such as the Worldwide Disclosure Facility, complex personal tax return completion, let property, 60-day CGT returns, seafarers and divers.
Having moved to Jersey in 1991 and with finance being its main industry, Nikki took on an accounting role within industry, where she obtained her bookkeeping qualification with the International Association of Bookkeepers (IAB). Shortly afterwards, she moved into practice, where she achieved her Certificate in Jersey Company and Trust Offshore Administration. She later went on to qualify as a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT), and as an accountant with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Nikki returned to Norfolk in 2013, joining a large Norwich practice.
Josh Bothe
Josh joined Tax Consulting by TaxAssist in 2022 after working for a local accountancy firm. Prior to this, he gained a BSc in Economics at the University of East Anglia. Josh is a member of the personal tax team and specialises in dealing with residence matters such as the Worldwide Disclosure Facility and inheritance tax complex compliance.
In 2024, Josh qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). Josh is also a member of the Association of Tax Technicians.
Helen Wright
Helen supports the team in providing high quality tax advice and is responsible for a variety of operational tasks in the area of taxation. This includes the preparation of tax deliverables and reports, the maintenance of records and databases, and the processing of payments.
